Silent meditations are being organized in many cities in the world. The first one was in Bombarral, Portugal in April 2007, followed by Washington DC, Quito and Guayaquil in Ecuador, Santiago in Chile, Pereira in Colombia, Tuxtlas in Mexico and at the United Nations in New York (February 15, 2008). The main purpose of these events is to meditate, contemplate, pray or simply remain in silence, focusing your mind and awareness on world peace. It is through your power, the fullness of your silence, and our collective silence that the group will be able to reach every corner of the planet, to eliminate violence and conflict and to open the doors for world peace.
