At the request of Eli Painted Crow and the Thirteeen Indigenous Grandmothers, Alfredo Sfeir-Younis will stand in service to the earth, to humanity, and to the Council of Grandmothers as an elder and lead Guardian for this ceremony. The event begins at Sunrise (6:13am) on October 10, 2008. Join Alfredo in this historical moment where warriorship is re-defined and a culture of peace is nurtured.

Alfredo Sfeir-Younis will participate in a series of ‘Talkcasts’ to nurture America’s heart and soul featuring some of America’s leading socially-engaged spiritual teachers. Each ‘talkcasts’ will feature a subtle activism practice, such as a meditation or prayer to support collective healing and social change. A live prayer and meditation event will be hosted in four US cities. Zambuling Institute will sponsor the Live event in Washington DC on November 2, 2008.
